Projectile Database

The multiplicity of projectiles available to terrorists and other criminals is a growing concern because it represents a broad range of threats that must be understood in order to provide adequate protective measures. As such, a Projectile Database was developed as a central repository for comparative bullet performance data against typical armors such as those used in lightweight vehicles. The database puts into the hands of a researcher a proactive tool whereby informed decisions can be made. The Projectile Database is currently being upgraded in format, and expanded to include additional projectiles and new standard target materials.
