U.S. Courts

U.S. Courts is maintained by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. The site serves as a "clearinghouse for information from and about the Judicial Branch of the U.S. Government." Some features of the site are:

  • Court Links provides links to Courts of Appeal, District Courts and Bankruptcy Courts by their circuit.

  • Newsroom provides links to news releases, bankruptcy statistics, publications, "The Third Branch" newsletter and "In the News" archives.

  • U.S. Courts Library provides links to Publications and Reports such as "The Federal Court System in the U.S.", the Director's Annual Report, and Judicial Facts and Figures. The Manuals and Policies link contains titles such as "Code of Conduct for United States Judges" and Published Advisory Opinions. Statistical Reports contains documents on Bankruptcy Statistics and Federal Judicial Caseload Statistics. Forms contains pdf files of forms for subpoenas, search warrants, as well as several other forms including bankruptcy forms.

The U. S. Courts website also has a section on Federal Rulemaking that provides links to Rules and Forms in Effect, Proposed Rules Amendments, Pending Rules Amendments, Meetings and Hearings, Local Court Rules, the Rulemaking Process, and Legislation.
