Federal Courts Finder

Federal Courts Finder, a resource created by Emory University's MacMillan Law Library, provides links to the opinions of the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals. Included on the website is a map of the United States indicating the states covered by the different circuits, with clickable links to each circuit. In addition to links to the U.S. Supreme Court* and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th*, 6th, 7th*, 8th*, 9th, 10th, and 11th Circuits, there are also links to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit*, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces*, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals*, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims*, the U.S. Court of International Trade*, the U.S. Tax Court*, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans' Claims*.

Note: The asteriks (*) indicate websites created by the courts themselves, which provide links to additional information such as rules, forms, dockets and contact lists. All others were created by outside entities and contain only the opinions, although some do provide links to the court's homepage (3rd, 9th, 10th, Federal Circuit). Click on the Credits & Conditions link under the map to view complete source information. The court opinions maintained by Emory (1st, 4th, 6th, 11th & Federal Circuit) list the opinions by month or alphabetically, and you can also search by keyword. Emory also links to each court's homepage (with the exception of the 11th Circuit).
