Court of Federal Claims

The United States Court of Federal Claims consists of sixteen judges nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate for a term of fifteen years. USCFC Biographies of the judges are available on the website. The Court is "authorized to hear primarily money claims founded upon the Constitution, federal statutes, executive regulations, or contracts, express or implied-in-fact, with the United States." Approximately 1/3 of the court's workload involves claims regarding government contracts.

USCFC Opinions can also be found on the website. The years covered are 1997-present. Cases are browseable by the date filed, but are not searchable. To obtain official copies, contact the Clerk's Office at 202-219-9657.

USCFC Rules of the Court and proposed amendments are available in pdf format. Also available are the USCFC Forms.
