Congressional Hearings Browse Feature

The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) provides a browse feature on its Congressional Hearings webpages. Users can Browse House or Senate hearings by Congress, beginning with the 104th Congress (1995-1996). Currently only House hearings are available for the 104th Congress.

To browse a catalog of congressional hearings that are available on GPO Access, click on the link for the appropriate Congress. Links are included with each congressional hearing listed in the catalog, which retrieve the text of the corresponding document as an ASCII text or PDF file.

For a more in-depth description of the many resources available on the GPO Access website, see the previous tip “GPO Access”.
