The GSA Missing Child Notice Program website, created and maintained in the Heartland Region, is a clearinghouse for information to federal agencies with regard to the executive memorandum and guidance on how to post the missing child notices in the nation's federal buildings. Ten notices are published each month as well as instructions for disseminating the notices. Please assist in this important program which may lead to the reunion of lost children and their families.

The Combined Federal Campaign is strongly supported in the Heartland Region each year. Federal employees and military personnel throughout the nation raise millions of dollars through the CFC that benefits thousands of non-profit charities.

YouthFriends was introduced in the Kansas City area in 1995 by the Greater Kansas City YMCA and the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. The Heartland Region is one of 94 employers in the Greater Kansas City Area who are committed to supporting young people in schools through the YouthFriends (a nongovernment website) Program.
