This project was designed to assess whether or not populations are recovering, whether isolated processes constrain recovery, and the potential activities to facilitate recovery. This web resource provides links to background information on Nearshore Vertebrate Predators, the Sea Otter, the Harlequin Duck, the River Otter, and the Pigeon Guillemot, gives perspective based on the study sites where the research takes place, which includes Western Prince William Sound, Alaska and the Study Sites investigated, links to research, scientists who were involved, and related web pages. There are also links to the Oil Spill Information Center where Oil Spill Reports can be obtained, and also the Sound Ecosystem Assessment (SEA), which describes investigating factors affecting recovery of pink salmon and herring in Prince William Sound.
