1990 - 1999
GTE Hawaiian Telephone Company, Inc. is an operating company with one study

On 6/30/2000, Bell Atlantic (BNTR) and GTE Corporation (GTTC) merged into one
company, Verizon Communications. GTE Hawaiian Telephone Co., Inc. was renamed
Verizon Hawaii, Inc.
2001 - 2004
Verizon Hawaii, Inc. had no changes during this period.
2005
On May 2, 2005, Verizon Communications sold Verizon Hawaii, Inc. to a private
global investment firm, The Carlyle Group. The Carlyle Group renamed the
company to Hawaiian Telcom Communications, Inc. Since
Verizon Hawaii, Inc. was sold in the middle of the year, it will not be filing
ARMIS Reports for CY 2005.
