1990 - 1994



Alltel Corporation during this period did not file ARMIS data because its operating companies were below the revenue threshold requirement. On 10/31/1993, Alltel traded study area jurisdictions Illinois (GLIL), Indiana (GLIN) and Michigan (GLMI) for GTE's Georgia study area jurisdictions (GTGA from GTE South Inc. & COGA from Contel of the South d/b/a GTE Systems of the South).

1995 - 1996



Alltel Corporation operating companies reached the revenue threshold in 1994 and Alltel filed ARMIS data for the 1995 reporting year. Alltel Corporation (ALTC) consists of three operating companies: Alltel of Pennsylvania, Inc. with study area jurisdiction Pennsylvania (ALPA); Alltel Georgia Communication Corp. with study area jurisdiction Georgia (ALGC); and The Western Reserve Telephone Co. with study area jurisdiction Ohio (ALWR). Note: Alltel, because it is a non price cap corporation, makes no filing at the holding company level (ALTC).

1997



Alltel sold study area jurisdiction Tuolumne to Citizens under operating company Citizens Telecommunication Company of Tuolumne Telephone on 12/31/1996. Alltel's Tuolumne Telephone Company was consolidated with Alltel of Pennsylvania Inc. (ALPA) on 1/1/1997. Note: Alltel -- Tuolumne Telephone Company did not file ARMIS data, because the operating company fell below the revenue threshold filing requirement.

1998



Alltel Carolina Incorporated reached the revenue threshold in 1997 and Alltel filed ARMIS data for the 1998 reporting year. Alltel Carolina Incorporated is an operating company with one study area jurisdiction: North Carolina (ALNC).

1999



Alltel Corporation (ALTC) acquired Aliant Telecommunications Company (LTNE) on 7/2/1999. Aliant became an operating company under Alltel Communications and was renamed Alltel of Nebraska, Incorporated. The company will continue under price cap regulation until 7/1/2002, see Memorandum Opinion and Order, DA 01-1408.

2000 - 2001



Alltel Corporation had no changes during this period.

2002



Alltel of Kentucky became a new operating company with two study area jurisdictions when it acquired two Kentucky study areas from Verizon Communications (GTKY & COKY) on July 25, 2002. However, these new study areas will not be required to file the ARMIS 43-05 Report (Service Quality Report) until next year. The two study areas will remain under price cap regulation, see Memorandum Opinion and Order, DA 02-888 (Released 4/18/2002).

Alltel Corporation and its Kentucky study areas filed the ARMIS 43-05 Report for the first time; refer to Memorandum Opinion and Order, DA 02-888 (Released 4/18/2002) for further details.

Alltel of Kentucky filed the ARMIS 43-01 (Annual Summary) and the ARMIS 43-08 (Operating Data) Reports for the two study areas and the operating company for the first time.

Alltel Communications had no changes during this period.

2006



Alltel and Valor companies merged into Windstream Corporation (WSTC).
