The NEI has terminated its support of the Vision Research Infrastructure Development Grants (R24) program, effective immediately.  Groups of vision investigators who are not eligible for the NEI Center Core Grant Program (P30), and who wish to obtain resources to support the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment and/or emerging technologies, may consider submitting applications to the Shared Instrumentation grant programs supported by the National Center for Research Resources, http://www.ncrr.nih.gov .
