Sustainable Site

  • Brown field redevelopment
  • Urban redevelopment area
  • Bicycle storage and shower/ changing rooms available for alternative transportation
  • Preferred parking and program for carpooling and alternative fuel vehicles  to serve 12% of occupants
  • Reduced site disturbance through open space to encourage habitat
  • Storm water management through BMP of vegetated filter strips, wet extended detention pond, constructed wetlands and grassed swales and a strict policy against the use on site of products containing phosphorus 
  • 100% of non roof areas will be shaded in 5 years and impervious areas are provided light colored concrete to reduce heat island effect.
  • 100% of roof meets emissivity requirements and complies with Energy Star to reduce heat island effect.

Water Efficiency
