This page provides descriptions of and links to various reports produced by the Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP). If a particular report you are looking for is not listed here, please use the Search feature above to find it.
The Performance Management & Accountability Web page highlights some of the progress OPP has made toward goals stated in the Agency's Strategic Plan, including objectives accomplished with the help of our state, local, and tribal partners.
Annual Reports includes both program-wide reports and reports specific to components of the Pesticide Program.
- The program-wide reports describe activities and accomplishments relating to pesticides. Report content varies by year, but in general reports cover core topics such as science and research, reregistration and tolerances, outreach and education, international coordination, and also special coverage areas, for example administration initiatives. These reports cover the years from 1994-2006.
- The reports on specific Pesticide Program components are listed separately by topic in this area, such as registration fees.
Pesticide Industry Sales and Usage reports provide economic profile information on the pesticide producing and pesticide using sectors covered by OPP's regulatory programs. The reports contain contemporary and historical data estimating the dollar values and quantities of active ingredients used and sold in the United States. In addition, the reports include data on imports, exports, firms, employment, the number of certified applicators, and the number of pesticides in use.
Progress and Status reports describe the status of reregistration, product reregistration, and tolerance reassessment. Reports on the linked page give numbers of pesticides and products reregistered, tolerances reassessed, Data Call-In notices issued, studies reviewed in support of reregistration, and products registered under the "fast track" provisions of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act.
Restricted Use Products (RUP) reports are compilations of both active and cancelled pesticide products classified as "Restricted Use." The "Restricted Use" classification restricts a product (or its uses) to use by a certificated pesticide applicator or under the direct supervision of a certified applicator.
