Obed Junior Ranger Badge
The Obed Wild and Scenic River offers a Junior Ranger Program for kids ages 4-14. Stop by the Visitor Center at 208 North Maiden Street in downtown Wartburg, Tennessee, for a Junior Ranger booklet. Upon completing the booklet, the child will receive an official Obed Junior Ranger Badge. Many special events that are held throughout the year are also geared for kids. Please click on the Schedule of Events icon for the current listing of events, locations and times offered. The National Park Service also offers an online opportunity for kids of all ages to become a WebRanger. In this program, kids are given a chance to learn about the National Park Service and the wide variety of park sites that are included therein.
