December 2006 Dear Friends, As the year comes to an end, it's a good time to reflect upon the year's
accomplishments, and look ahead to the coming year. For the National Adrenal
Diseases Foundation, 2006 was a time to move ahead! Thanks to your generous
support, we were able to: • Increase our volunteer support groups to 32 to reach out to even more
people who, like the three women quoted above, are afflicted with rare
adrenal disorders. • Create an Addison's Disease Awareness Program that included public
service announcements on radio and television in multiple markets, as well
as in newspapers. • Provide information kits to 227 patients newly-diagnosed adrenal
patients, and many more through our support groups. • Publish and distribute four informative issues of NADF News. • Maintain our website for anyone searching for information about adrenal
diseases. None of this would have been possible without the support of people who
believe in our mission - people like you! The National Adrenal Disease
Foundation is the only organization dedicated to offering information,
education, and support to those afflicted by adrenal diseases. It is our goal to find a cure for Addison's Disease - a way to prevent it
in future generations, while continuing to improve the lives of those
already affected by it. But research is expensive. That's where you come in. Please support NADF with a donation today! 100% of your donation will go toward helping the National Adrenal
Diseases Foundation continue to offer the support, education, and research
that are the mission of this small organization. NADF is a 501c3
not-for-profit organization, so your donation is fully tax deductible. See our Fundraising page for
ways to contribute. NADF wants you to know that, however you give, we treasure your donation
in any amount. We will spend your gift wisely and effectively to benefit the
adrenal disease community. Your support truly does make a difference! With heartfelt gratitude, Melanie Wong Executive Director
