Plant Science Research Careers

PSRU St. Paul employs Research Geneticists, Research Plant Physiologists, Research Plant Pathologists, Research Dairy Scientists, and Research Soil Scientists.  PSRU St. Paul scientists have advanced degrees (Ph.D.) in Plant Genetics, Plant Physiology, Plant Pathology, Animal Science, and Soil Science.  The Unit's support staff includes Biological Science Laboratory and Agricultural Science Research Technicians, Biologists, Plant Physiologists, Molecular Biologists, and Office Program Assistants.

The research scientists employed by the PSRU St. Paul require graduate studies in specialized fields such as:  genetics, plant biology, animal science, soil science, and plant pathology.  Each of these advanced degree fields relies heavily on related disciplines such as biochemistry, statistics, molecular biology, agronomy, and nutrition.  Most of the support positions require a B.Sc./B.A. in a field of study related to the job requirements.
