Unless otherwise stated, payment levels apply equally to the aged, blind, and disabled. Recipients living in a Medicaid facility who have other sources of income are allowed to keep $45 a month as a personal needs allowance. Recipients living in an intermediate care facility for mental retardation and working in a sheltered workshop can keep up to $100 a month of their earnings in addition to the $45 a month. |
