Jordan M. Small

Jordan Small accepted the role of acting vice president, Network Operations in April 2009 after being named vice president, Delivery Operations in February 2008. He is leading Postal Service efforts to improve service and reduce costs in the delivery network, which continues to expand by 1.8 million new delivery points each year. He is responsible for the national network of 350 mail processing and distribution centers and for initiatives that use automation to increase the amount of mail sequenced in the order of delivery. This includes deployment of the new Flat Sequencing System.

Earlier, Small served as manager of the South Florida District, which includes Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. He also served as manager of the Philadelphia District.

Small joined the Postal Service as a distribution clerk in New York City in 1979. Positions held throughout his career include senior plant manager in the South Florida District, manager/lead executive in the Philadelphia District, district manager in Akron, Ohio, and postmaster in Cleveland, Ohio.

Small is a U.S. Army veteran who attended Miami-Dade Community College and David Myers University and has completed the USPS Executive Leadership Program.
