Anthony Morrow

Anthony J. (Tony) Morrow was named Acting Vice President, Finance and Planning in April 2009, reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. His organization is responsible for all forward-looking financial information, from budgets to the five-year plan, as well as the development of an 18-month financial plan that is adjusted on a dynamic basis. Other responsibilities are revenue, expense, and capital budgeting, business and program evaluation, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Morrow has 30 years of experience in a broad range of budget and finance positions at Postal Service Headquarters and at the Area, District, and Post Office levels. Morrow began his career in 1979 as a clerk in the Wichita, Kansas General Mail Facility and he has followed a finance career path since 1981. He served as Manager, Budget and Financial Analysis in both the Wichita Division and the Southwest Area; Manager, Finance in both the Arkansas Performance Cluster and Midwest Area and Manager, Field Budget at Headquarters. He most recently served as Manager of Budget and Financial Analysis at Headquarters.

Morrow has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Masters of Science degree in Finance, both from Wichita State University. He also completed the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Columbia University. His accomplishments were recognized with the Deputy Postmaster General Award in 2007 and numerous Vice Presidents’ awards throughout his career.
