South Georgia Natural Gas Company; Notice of Proposed Changes to 
FERC Gas Tariff

October 26, 1999.
    Take notice that on October 19, 1999, South Georgia Natural Gas 
Company (South Georgia) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, (Tariff) one original and five 
copies of Second Revised Sheet No. 88 to become effective November 1, 
1999.
    South Georgia states that the purpose of this filing is to comply 
with the Commission's letter order dated October 4, 1999 in the above-
referenced docket. South Georgia states that it will provide shippers 
with individual notice by facsimile or electronic mail of any scheduled 
quantities that are being bumped. South Georgia has requested that 
these sheets be made effective as of November 1, 1999. South Georgia 
states that copies of the filing will be served upon its shippers and 
interested state commissions.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
