To earn your Oregon Caves Junior Ranger badge:

  • Complete the Junior Ranger Booklet, 6200 KB Adobe Reader file
  • Have a Ranger review your work
  • Complete the Ranger pledge

Once you’re sworn in, you will receive your badge and start your career as a Junior Ranger. As a Junior Ranger, you’ll have Ranger responsibilities which include wearing your Junior Ranger badge proudly, protecting all Parks and Monuments for future (and present) generations, protect plants and animals in the forest by staying on designated trails, picking up any litter you see and DO NOT litter, leaving what you find by allowing others a sense of discovery, respecting wildlife by observe wildlife from afar to avoid disturbing them, teaching others about the many things you learned at Oregon Caves.
