To report health care fraud -Health care fraud is when a Medicaid provider submits false or fraudulent claims for payment of health care services. 


To report welfare fraud - Welfare fraud is any intentional action which causes a participant or welfare provider to receive benefits to which they are not entitled.



 

TO REPORT HEALTH CARE FRAUD

 

To file a fraud complaint regarding false or fraudulent claims for payment of health care services.  Medicaid providers may be:

·         Dentists;

·         Hospitals;

·         Mental health or case management providers;

·         Nursing homes;

·         Pharmacies;

·         Physicians;

·         Transportation providers; or

·         Any other provider who bills the Medicaid program for services.


 

TO REPORT WELFARE FRAUD

 

To file a fraud complaint regarding any intentional action which causes a participant or welfare provider to receive benefits to which they are not entitled.

 

Participants may receive benefits for:

  • Cash Assistance;
  • Energy Assistance;
  • Food Stamps;
  • ICCP (Idaho Child Care Program);
  • Medical; or
  • WIC Program (Women, Infants & Children).

 

Welfare providers may receive reimbursement for:

  • Child Care
  • Employment Services
  • Energy Conservation
  • Food Stamps
