About Registration for the Research Raw Data Program

GSA respects the privacy of Research Data Users on this website.  Research Raw Data users' contact information will not be shared on the GSA Dataset website. Contact information will be used as follows:

1. Contact information will be kept on file at GSA to enable the follow-up with the user. GSA may follow-up with a user to check on the status of research performed using the dataset(s) downloaded from this site, and obtain copies of reports and other documents developed from this research, etc.

2. When a user downloads a dataset, some of the user's contact information will be sent by GSA to the researcher whose dataset is being downloaded. This information includes: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, and Affiliation (Items #1, 2, 3, 8, and 9). This information is provided to the initial researcher (Research Source) to facilitate collaboration among interested parties.

The user's research intentions information will NOT be shared on the GSA Dataset website. Research intentions are kept confidential and used by GSA personnel to follow-up with the user regarding the progress of the research using the dataset(s) downloaded from this website, and to help GSA improve the content and use of the website itself.
