Relocation of EEOC Headquarters and Washington Field Office

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Headquarters and Washington Field Office (WFO) moved in November 2008 to 131 M Street, NE.

Washington Field Office

The WFO is responsible for processing charges of discrimination against private, state and local government employers in the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia, and for administering hearings regarding complaints against federal government employers in these geographic areas. The WFO reopened on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the following address:

Visitor Procedures

All visitors to EEOC Headquarters and the WFO must check in at the security guard's desk and process through the Visitor Management System at either the North Lobby or South Lobby entrance of 131 M Street, NE. Visitors will be issued a badge which they must display at all times. Visitors must remain with their escort as they will have no other means of accessing EEOC areas.
