Description
The International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) promotes the professional development, advancement, and recognition of lactation consultants worldwide for the benefit of breastfeeding women, infants and children. Membership is open to all who care for mothers and their Infants in a variety of settings, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, or national origin. ILCA recognizes the certification awarded by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) as the professional credential for lactation consultants.
