This website, sponsored by the American Family Immigration History Center (AFIHC), provides basic factual knowledge regarding the history of Immigration to the United States. Individuals with enough knowledge of their ancestry are able to search for relatives by clicking the link “Passenger Search.” This feature essentially allows one to search the “ship manifests”, or detailed passenger lists, which ship companies used to track their passengers.
