Newsletter Subscription Center on Findlaw

The Newsletter Subscription Center <http://newsletters.findlaw.com/nl/> is one of the free services for registered FindLaw users provided by the legal website Findlaw for Legal Professionals <http://lp.findlaw.com/>. To view sample newsletters, click on the title itself. To subscribe, click on the box to the left of the title of the newsletter(s) to which you would like to subscribe, then click on "Subscribe to Free Newsletters" and enter your e-mail address and other required information. A confirmation e-mail is sent to you for every newsletter you select and you can unsubscribe at any time.

There are three categories of newsletters from which to choose: Daily Case Notification, Weekly Case Notification, and General Interest. The Daily Case Notifications cover opinions of the U.S. Supreme Court and the Federal Circuit Courts. The Weekly Case Notifications cover opinion summaries by topic such as Family Law, Government Contracts, Immigration, and Labor & Employment. A link to the full-text opinion is provided along with the summary. The General Interest category offers a variety of newsletters such as Legal News Headlines that covers news on a daily basis in areas such as politics, civil rights, labor & employment, and telecommunications. Findlaw also provides access to a searchable archive of opinion summaries from September 2000-present on its Case Summaries Search page, located at: <http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/casesummary/index.html>.

A past tip on Findlaw provides information about additional resources available on the website.
