Labor & Employment Blogs

Blogs are chronologically ordered online journals. They can be a useful source of current information for a particular area of law. The blogs below are written by a lawyer and a law professor who specialize in labor and employment law.

  • Employment Law Blog is written by Ross Runkel who is the editor at LawMemo.Com. This blog covers topics such as discrimination, FLSA, harassment, NLRB, OSHA and retaliation. The archive goes back to January 2005 and recent entries are listed in the left hand column.
  • Arbitration Blog is another blog written by Ross Runkel. It covers employment and labor arbitration. Arbitration Blog follows the same format as the Employment Law Blog.
  • ERISAblog is an ERISA law commentary and news filter maintained by B. Janell Grenier, Esq. You can either search the site or browse entries by topic (preemption, outsourcing or arbitration), week or recent postings.
  • Benefitsblog is another blog maintained by Ms. Grenier. It follows the same format as ERISAblog and covers tax, benefits and ERISA.
  • Employer's Law Blog is hosted by Day Pitney's Labor, Employment and Benefits Practice Group. It provides the latest in labor, employment, benefits and executive compensation law from a business perspective. Especially useful for employers doing business in New York or New Jersey, and a good resource for court opinions, legislation, and news.
