Public AffairsThe Office of Public Affairs is part of the Office of Citizen Services and Communications within the U.S. General Services Administration. It carries out the agency’s effort to assist members of the media, as well as citizens, in understanding the important work performed by GSA as we strive toward helping other agencies better serve the public and simplifying citizen access to government information and services. Although it serves as the official point of contact for national inquiries, the Office of Public Affairs in Washington, DC works closely with its regional counterparts to ensure media representatives have public affairs experts to speak with when necessary for regional GSA programs, policies and people. Subscribe to GSA News Releases Members of the media who wish to be added to GSA’s distribution list may put their request forward electronically through gsa.gov. A request form is available through GSA’s electronic Newsroom or by calling the Office of Public Affairs at (202) 501-1231. This service is available only to credentialed, working members of the media. Members of the general public are invited to visit our website to read about the latest news concerning GSA. Journalist Item Request Form Members of the media who are interested in scheduling an interview, a news release, media kits and/or other information about GSA may submit their request electronically through the Journalist Item Request Form available through the GSA Newsroom.
