GSA Creates Hotlines for Hurricane Hit Regions

Posted August 31, 2005

In order to assist its federal customers, the U.S. General Services Administration on August 31 established hotlines in the two Regions serving the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Katrina.  GSA’s federal customers in the affected areas who need to reach a GSA point of contact may call the numbers listed below for information related to buildings, products, services, technology, or other relevant issues.

REGION 4: (404) 224-2222 – Serving Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Kentucky.

REGION 7: (817) 978-2210 – Serving Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.  This hotline is currently open to federal customers 24 hours a day.  Region 7 customers may also send an e-mail to actiongsa@gsa.gov.

GSA secures the buildings, products, services, technology, and other workplace essentials federal agencies need.  An estimated 13,000 GSA associates support more than one million federal workers located in 8,000 government-owned and leased buildings in 2,000 U.S. communities and overseas.
