The CHANGE Project (1998-2005) provided leadership for behavior change innovation, tools and strategies. CHANGE focused on helping health and nutrition programs develop and apply practical solutions to behavior change problems. The CHANGE Project ended in June, 2005.

 

   
     
  Understanding and Challenging HIV STIGMA - Toolkit for Action Understanding and Challenging HIV Stigma: Toolkit for Action

The toolkit was designed for NGOs, community groups and HIV educators to raise awareness and promote actions to challenge HIV stigma and discrimination. Based on research in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zambia, the toolkit contains more than 125 excercises.

 
       
       
 

Maternal Survival: Improving Access to Skilled Care
A Behavior Change Approach

The CHANGE Project developed a framework and tools to identify behaviors related to women’s use of skilled care during delivery and the postpartum period. Research in Guinea, Kenya and Bangladesh found that women, families, communities and providers are willing to try new practices and change behaviors that result in increased use of skilled care.

  Understanding and Challenging HIV STIGMA - Toolkit for Action Guidelines for Developing Home-Based Reminder Materials
