WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced it has named Tim Burke as Federal Security Director for Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in Savannah, Ga.
"Tim’s record of service to the airline industry and transportation security is impeccable," said Rear Adm. David M. Stone, USN (Ret.), Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for TSA. "With twenty-one years of aviation leadership experience, Savannah is fortunate to be getting a leader of such energy and professionalism."
Burke has been with the TSA since October 2003, serving as Area Director for Southeast Area Aviation Operations, Acting Federal Security Director for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and most recently as the Chief of Staff for Aviation Operations.
