The National Library of Medicine invites you to an Online Focus Group

The National Library of Medicine invites emergency medicine physicians and/or physicians who are part of emergency and disaster response teams in the United States to participate in an upcoming evaluation of the Radiation Event Medical Management (http://remm.nlm.gov) Web site. You are receiving this notice because you are a subscriber to this listserv.

The Radiation Event Medical Management (REMM) site provides guidance for health care providers, primarily physicians, about clinical diagnosis and treatment during mass casualty radiological/nuclear events. REMM was produced by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, Office of Planning and Emergency Operations, in cooperation with the National Library of Medicine, the National Cancer Institute, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and many US and international consultants.

This online focus group will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007. The discussion will last approximately 90 minutes (from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Eastern time, 4:30-6:00 p.m. Pacific) and is commissioned by the National Library of Medicine (NLM).

We would like to learn your opinions, attitudes, and perceptions on the content, functioning, and overall value of the site, which you will be asked to review in advance of the focus group at your convenience.

Selected participants will be sent compensation of $75 within 4-6 weeks of completion of the online focus group.

If you are interested in participating (which you will do from the convenience of your own computer), please answer the questions below, and provide your name, e-mail address, and a telephone contact number to Mary Beth Solomon, ([log in to unmask]), who will contact you to discuss possible participation.
