The Transportation Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Evaluation (TRAVEL) Tool tool is used in a comprehensive, facilitated, on-site assessment of a transportation asset. An assessment using the TRAVEL tool requires a systematic assessment of an asset's baseline security system and that system's effectiveness in detecting, deterring, and/or preventing the threat scenarios.
A vulnerability assessment using the TRAVEL tool requires the participation of subject matter expert from our team along with representatives from the transportation asset. Operations management, facilities management, security personnel and law enforcement agents are examples of the people involved in analyzing each threat scenario and corresponding security system.
