Case No.: 2003-AIR-12

In the Matter of

Coleen L. Powers,
    Complainant

v.

Pinnacle Airlines, Inc.,
    Respondent

ORDER DISMISSING EDWARD SLAVIN AS COMPLAINANT'S COUNSEL
AND CANCELLING SCHEDULED HEARING

On Monday, May 12, 2003, I received a "Notice of Dismissal of Complainant Counsel in This Case Effective Immediately," which apparently was sent by telefax on the previous day, Sunday, May 11, 2003. In this pleading, the Complainant notifies the Court and parties that, effective May 11, 2003, all correspondence should be directed solely to the Complainant. As the Complainant has stated that she no longer wishes to be represented by Mr. Edward Slavin, he is hereby dismissed as her counsel in this proceeding. The Complainant will notify the Court by Friday, May 16, 2003, as to whether she has retained new counsel, or wishes to proceed pro se.

The Complainant is once again reminded that the only Respondent in this proceeding is Pinnacle Airlines, Inc., and the captions on any future pleadings should reflect this. Additionally, the Claimant is reminded that, with a few specific exceptions, I have not authorized pleadings to be submitted by telefax. Finally, the Complainant is reminded that, pursuant to my May 6, 2003 Order, the Complainant is to provide her complete responses to the Respondent's interrogatories and document requests by close of business on May 16, 2003.

The Complainant has previously requested a continuance of the hearing scheduled for May 28, 2003, and the Respondent has not objected. Accordingly, the hearing scheduled for May 28, 2003 in Memphis, Tennessee is cancelled. A new hearing date will be set upon resolution of all discovery issues.

SO ORDERED.
