Before the Secretary for review are the several Recommended Decision(s) and Order(s) (R.D. and O.) of the Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) in the above captioned cases arising under the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, as amended (ERA), 42 U.S.C. § 5851 (1988). Recently, Respondent's counsel, Edward M. Richters, submitted the parties' "Joint Stipulation for Dismissal of Complaints with Prejudice and Approval of Settlement Agreement" (Joint Stipulation), dated March 13, 1992, indicating that all of the captioned cases have been settled.

    Counsel for Respondent and Complainant Del Core, have contacted the Office of Administrative Appeals (OAA), which assists the Secretary in her adjudicatory responsibilities under the ERA, concerning the processing of these cases. They have expressed their concern that the Secretary's review and disposition of these matters be expedited. In addition, on May 14, 1992, Complainant Del Core submitted copies of documents entitled "Settlement Agreement" and "General Release." These unexecuted, undated documents do not reflect service on Respondent's counsel. A copy of these documents is appended to Respondent's counsel Edward Richters' copy of this notice. By letter dated May 21, 1992, Mr. Richters submitted copies of executed Settlement Agreements and General Releases for each Complainant, indicating service on opposing counsel.

    The parties' expressed desire to promptly resolve these matters is noted, and this office will endeavor to assist the Secretary in completing her review of these matters as expeditiously as possible.
