Major Resources
WormBase is a repository of mapping, sequencing and phenotypic information about C. elegans and some closely related nematodes. The data contain the essentially complete genomic sequence of C. elegans. This site is updated every two weeks. The URL is: http://www.wormbase.org
C. elegans Web Server contains information on recent papers, the Caenorhabditis Genetics Center, laboratories, meetings and abstracts from the semi-annual International C. elegans meeting, announcements, links to the Bionet.celegans newsgroup, information and links to information on other nematodes, methods for C. elegans research, lineage map information, genomics information and links to other genomics information sites, software useful for C. elegans research.
Thierry-Mieg Mirror Site for C. elegans Web Server and Database Access contains genetic and genomic data on C. elegans, information and access for Acedb, Acembly, Jade, Blast and AcePerl.
Genome Sequencing Center contains the history and data access for the sequencing effort for several genomes including C. elegans, data on matches to C. briggsae clones, search capability, links to related sites at Sanger Centre and Caenorhabditis Genetics Center.
C. elegans Microarray Resource contains information and data on microarray chips, analysis of completed chip experiments, and how to access the resource.
Caenorhabditis Genetics Center is the stock center for C. elegans genetic stocks. The website contains general information on the center, access to the Worm Breeder’s Gazette, available strains, bibliography, gene names and strain and mutation names.
Center for Caenorhabditis Elegans Anatomy contains information on methods, personnel, publications, services and collaborations and how to access the Center.
bullet Genetic Map and Associated Resources for C. briggsae contains the latest version of the high-density SNP-based genetic map, assays and resources for mapping, and data downloads.
