Auction 63 - The
Reverse Auction Program is planning a Special Auction for approximately 1,500
public housing properties. This will include both first time AMP inspections and
second year AMP inspections. The auction is tentatively scheduled for Saturday,
September 5, 2009, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern time. (NOTE the ending time
is earlier than previous auctions.)
The period of performance will be
ninety (90) days beginning September 14, 2009, and ending December 13, 2009.
To
participate in the bid process for this Auction (63) there are five mandatory
requirements that eligible contractors must meet:

Attend a mandatory
pre-bid teleconference; |
|
Be in good financial standing with HUD; |
|
Have
no open past due inspections; |
|
Scheduled inspections for recent auctions
by the due date; AND |
|
Be in compliance with confirmation emails for properly
scheduled inspections.
| If you did Not attend a teleconference
on June 4, June 18, July 9, 2009, or August 6, 2009, you must attend the teleconference
scheduled on Thursday, August 27, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. Eastern time. If a
representative participates for your company, they must provide the contractor
ID for the organization they are representing (i.e. your "M" number).
If
you are not already an eligible contractor, please submit all information by the
end of the day, August 30, 2009.

Inspection Review Notice: Contractors should
check the Inspection Review Web Page often. It is required that posted challenges
be responded to within 3 business days. If no response is received within this
time-frame, and REAC was not informed of any IT/ technical difficulties, the inspection
WILL BE REJECTED. Rejected inspections are not subject to payment.

Reminder:
It is important that inspections are NOT over-scheduled, and that Scheduler is
kept up-to-date, as stated in the UPCS protocol. Contractors must ensure that
adequate resources are available prior to bidding. Failure to adhere to the UPCS
protocol and/or the Purchase Order Terms and Conditions may result in suspension
of an inspector, HUD-rejected inspections, and/or denial of participation in the
Reverse Auction Program. |
