Emergency Management Agency

The St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is responsible for the disaster preparedness of the unincorporated areas of the County.

EMA's goal is to develop a plan to improve community awareness and emergency response. To accomplish this, EMA is continually updating our Emergency Operations Plan. The purpose of this plan is to provide information about how St. Clair County government will protect its residents and properties in the event of a disaster.

To this end, EMA hold a tornado drill the first Tuesday of each month. This is done to assure that all sirens and equipment are working properly.
