E-Government

Introduction

E-Government is about utilizing technology to improve how the Federal Government serves citizens, businesses and agencies alike.

GSA is the managing partner for five initiatives: E-Authentication, E-Travel, Federal Asset Sales, Integrated Acquisition Environment, USA Services, and two Lines of Business (LoBs): Financial Management and Information Technology Infrastructure.   This is about one fifth of the E-Government portfolio.

In managing these initiatives and LoBs, GSA has leveraged the type of governance that nourishes cross-agency collaboration and information sharing of best practices.   The resources below offer greater detail on major initiatives along with GSA's own Lessons Learned from being a manager partner.

E-Government Lessons Learned
