A TIFF image viewer for Windows web browsers |
|
AlternaTIFF is a web browser add-on (ActiveX control or plug-in) that displays most of the common types of TIFF image files. It works in most web browsers for 32-bit versions of Windows (95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Vista, etc.). Current ActiveX version: 1.8.4 (21 May 2008) AlternaTIFF is free to use for any purpose; however, you will be required to register it before it can be used to view images. You will be told how to register when you install it, or when you first use it to view an image. (You do not need to search this web site looking for a way to register. If you are not asked to register, it means your computer has already been registered.)

- Site license information -- You can purchase copies of AlternaTIFF that don't require registration.
- Netscape only: <Refresh plug-ins> -- Click here to activate your new plug-in after installing it, without a browser restart. This won't work if you already have a TIFF plug-in installed (must restart browser), and isn't necessary if you had a previous version of AlternaTIFF installed.
- Archive -- Some older versions may still be available here
Questions about installing or using AlternaTIFF may be sent by email to alternatiff@alternatiff.com, but please read the FAQ first, or you may not receive a reply. Questions about sales and licensing, or other administrative or legal issues, should be sent to instead.
