CFEIS Documentation

CMUG - CFEIS Manufacturer User's Guide (CMUG) contains specific information about how to submit light-duty vehicle certification and fuel economy data to EPA including file layouts and field descriptions. Updated March 2001.
New Manufacturer Information - All new manufacturers, importers and ICIs must first register with EPA before they can begin the emissions certification process with EPA. To register, see these instructions (PDF) (24 pp, 1.9MB, February 2006). When you register you will be assigned a unique manufacturer code to be used by you throughout your company's certification, fuel economy and other compliance activities with EPA.
