Claims Management Branch

Most customer contact with the TSA goes through our professional Contact Center. This center has been trained in all aspects of TSA operations and policy in order to answer questions on a variety of topics. They can be reached by telephone, email, or USPS mail.

TSA always encourages passengers and the general public to submit feedback regarding our operations. TSA employs 45,000 security officers at over 450 airports across the United States and its territories. These security officers check over 50 million checked bags and over 35 million passengers per month.

The feedback received by the public is critical to improving TSA operations.

It is imperative to TSA that we receive constructive feedback concerning not only claims, but all screening operations or customer service concerns. The policies and future of security screening depend on the cooperation and acceptance of the public. We take your concerns very seriously.

Complaints, compliments, and suggestions are recorded and passed up the chain of command at TSA headquarters. The knowledge collected is heavily considered whenever TSA analyzes or creates policy that will affect passengers.
