• The City of Buffalo has extended the deadline to file assessment challenges from December 31, 2008 to January 21, 2009.  Challenges must be received in the Department of Assessment and Taxation no later than January 21, 2009.  Challenge forms and instructions can be obtained from the Department of Assessment and Taxation, 101 City Hall, or on this website by clicking here: Forms Information and Downloads .
