The National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) is funded by the U. S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The NSTI provides career orientation and educational experiences to motivate secondary school students toward professions in the field of transportation. Participants spend four weeks on various college/university campuses in the country.
