Each Universal contractor provides the full range of FTS2001 services to meet current government requirements and over 20 new services emphasizing IP-based networks of the future.
Each Universal contractor also provides service to all government locations currently served under existing programs, as well as all commercial locations served by the contractor.
Agencies should conduct an analysis of their current and future telecommunication and networking requirements. Then, develop service groupings and a strategy to meet their requirements. Finally, agencies should select a Networx acquisition (Universal, Enterprise, or both), place orders and transition existing services and/or implement new services.
Several tools and resources are available to support agencies using the Networx program.
