Strategic Plan 2007-2012, September 2007
The strategic plan details the CFTC’s plans to continue to meet the challenges posed by the growth and complexity of the futures and options industry. The CFTC’s strategic goals include ensuring the economic vitality of the commodity futures and options markets; protecting market users and the public; and ensuring market integrity in order to foster open, competitive, and financially sound markets.

CFTC Inventories of Commercial and Inherently Governmental Activities
Inventories of commercial and inherently governmental activities performed at the Commission.  These inventories are mandated by the Federal Activities Inventory Reform Act, PL 105-270.

This Month in Futures Markets
This report is based on the Commitment of Traders (COT) report. For each commodity, the COT reports provide information on the size and the direction of the positions taken, across all maturities, by three categories of futures traders. These three trader categories are called “commercial”,”non-commercial”, and “non-reportable”.
