The button located in the upper right-hand corner of nearly every page on the FTA Public website allows you to "share" the page you are on with others. The idea of this button is to help spread FTA content across the web by making it easy for visitors to bookmark and share content to their favorite social destinations (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) or to simply save a webpage to your favorites for faster viewing later.
Social media sites (also known as social news sites) let you save links to webpages and share them with others who share similar interests.
Social media sites don't all work exactly the same. You might need to register, often for free, to save or share a bookmark. To learn more about the specifics on sharing content, visit the website of the bookmark system you want to use.
FTA provides this list of social media tools because these appear to be commonly used by the web community. We don't endorse any particular bookmarking system.
