ENCODE Pilot Project Launch Meeting

National Institutes of Health
Natcher Conference Center
Bethesda, Md.

March 7, 2003

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) convened a meeting on March 7, 2003 at the Natcher Conference Center on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Campus in Bethesda, Md. This meeting served two purposes: to officially launch the ENCODE Pilot Project Research Consortium and to hold an information session for potential applicants to two RFAs being released.

Attendance at this meeting, while encouraged, was not a prerequisite for either membership in the research consortium or for responding to the RFAs.
