Provides air transport to specialized medical facilities for evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.

American Red Cross Emergency Travel Assistance

Provides financial travel assistance to attend a memorial or funeral service for a Service Member killed on active duty in the combat zone, or when traveling to the bedside of a Service Member injured in a combat zone.

Angel Flight Central

Arranges charitable long-distance flights for access to health care and for other humanitarian purposes.

Grace Flight of America

Arranges free air transportation for patients so they can get to specialized medical treatment not available to them locally.

Helping Our Heroes Foundation

Provides patient advocates, funds for education, financial and career counseling and emergency funding. Also offers travel grants to Walter Reed Army Medical Center for Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom (OIF/OEF) patients and family.

Luke's Wings

Provides travel planning, tickets and services to the families of Service Members hospitalized at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Mercy Flight Southeast

Provides free air transportation by private aircraft to distant medical facilities when commercial service is unavailable, impractical or unaffordable.

Mercy Medical Airlift

Long-distance medical air transportation for specialized medical evaluation, diagnosis or treatment.

National Association of American Veterans - Services

Offers transportation service to and from the Washington, DC area medical centers so that hospitalized Service Members and Veterans can receive more visits from immediate family members.

Navy Safe Harbor Program

Coordinates the non-medical care of wounded, ill, and injured sailors, Coast Guardsmen, and their families. Includes assistance with pay/personnel issues, lodging and housing adaptation, child and youth programs, transportation needs, legal and guardianship issues, education and training benefits, TBI/PTSD support service, and much more.

Operation Hero Miles

Provides free plane tickets to family members of wounded Service Members to visit their loved ones recovering at military hospitals across the country.

Veterans Airlift Command

Provides free air transportation to wounded warriors, Veterans and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes through a national network of volunteer aircraft owners and pilots.
