FDsys will be implemented through a series of releases, with each release building upon the features of the previous release. There are multiple releases planned over the next two years, with beta testing occurring prior to each release. The initial public release is scheduled for January 2009.
Current Status We are quickly approaching the first public release of FDsys, scheduled for January 2009. The first release will replace the functionality and enhance searching and browsing capabilities currently available on GPO Access. GPO is currently migrating the information from GPO Access into FDsys. This migration is a lengthy process; however, all of the content accessible through GPO Access will be available on FDsys within six months of launch.
